Born on January 28, 1927 to Albert L. Mays and Emma Shepherd.  She spent many years in Ohio before becoming a military wife and traveling around for 20 years before they retired in Utah with her family.

Elizabeth is survived by her two sons and two daughter, Bill (Glenda) Thomas, Mike (Chris) Thomas, Kathy (Wayne) King, and Linda Manning.  She has 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister in Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, Laymon J. Thomas; brother, Jim in Ohio; sister, Mimi Bell of Roy; and great-granddaughter, Shaelynn.

Per her request, Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Parks, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
