ELIZABETH R. WEHL
November 1, 1922 - April 20, 2014
Betty died peacefully on Easter Sunday. As she wished, she is interred at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Los Angeles, California. She was 91 years old. She spent 68 years with her husband, Arthur, mostly in her beloved California. She and Art moved to Utah to be near their son, Dr. Chris Wehl, his wife, Dr. Nan Klein, and their granddaughter, Rachael Kishner Wehl. She welcomed Nan's son, Justin Klein-Clark and his wife, Marian Rivkind, into the Wehl family, and celebrated the addition of the "youngsters," Sebastian Klein-Clark and Jude Klein-Clark. Betty was preceded in death by her brother Rudy Krueger and his wife Vera. Betty is survived by her nephew, Ernst Krueger, wife Lynn; nephew Bill Krueger, wife Maureen; grandnephew Ernie, wife Jennifer and children.
Betty quite enjoyed her life until back pain stole her comfort and mobility in the past few years. She spent her last hours in the company of her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, while her spirit slowly tiptoed away. Those who knew her would say she was the sweetest, most kind-hearted and upbeat person they ever met. She always loved a party or get-together and was game for an adventure. It was quite a loss to her in recent years that she couldn't always come to the party.
We will celebrate her life at noon on Friday, May 23, 2014, at Eldredge Manor, 564 W 400 North, Bountiful, UT. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
