Ella Maurine Anderson
Ella Maurine Anderson completed her mortal journey and moved forward into the eternities on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Ella was born on November 9, 1930 to Rollo Edward and Maude Baker Anderson in Hiawatha, Utah. She spent most of her youth in Brigham City, Utah. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1949 and received her Associates Degree from Weber State College in 1973.
She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Andes (Peru) Mission in 1961-62.
Ella worked for the Federal Government as a Civil Service Employee for 34 years and retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1986. After her retirement she moved to Cedar City, Utah. She spent the last eight years of her life with her friends in Chancellor Gardens Clearfield, Utah.
She enjoyed life, family, friends, genealogy, geology and music.
Ella is survived by her brother, Dale Baker Anderson, Sunset, Utah; and six nieces and nephews, Shirley (Alan) Story, Steven (Debbie) Anderson, Elaine Stoddard (Mike Moulton), Darrell (Debbie) Anderson, Vickie Baer and Don (Anne) Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Ward Rollo Anderson.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Chancellor Gardens and Encompass Hospice for all of the caring assistance rendered to Ella.
