Elliott James Guptill

April 24, 1941 ~ February 16, 2017

Elliott James Guptill, 75, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017.  He was born in Addison, Maine to James Lewis Guptill and Susie Mae Grant.  He joined the Air Force in 1961 and served until February 1981 when he retired.  He made his home in Ogden, Utah for the past 36 years.

He enjoyed camping and passed his love of the outdoors on to his children.

Elliott is survived by his wife of 35 years, Eileen Dexter Guptill; his children, Lori Cigany and Robert Guptill; and his six children from his 1st marriage, Diane, Daniel, Teresa, Ruby, Bobbie Jo, and Edmond; his brother, Larry (Carol) and brother-in-law, Harold Lovejoy, both of Maine; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
