Elmer Bowser

Elmer Lee Bowser, 64, passed away May 9, 2017 in South Ogden.

He was born July 24, 1952 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania the son of Chester E. and Pauline Christie Shields Bowser.

Elmer served in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force and retired from HAFB as a Master Mechanic.

He enjoyed fishing at Flaming Gorge, tinkering with his many tools, making people laugh and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughters, Melissa Chowning, Stacy Clark, eight grandchildren, brothers, Chet, Bobcat, sisters, Donna and Ruby Pearl.

Preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
