Elmer Lee Coleman
E. Lee Coleman of Manila, Utah passed away peacefully the morning or March 19, 2010. He was born October 17, 1931 in Smithfield, Utah to his parents John Elmer Coleman and Rachel McNeil. He grew up in Smithfield attending schools in Smithfield and Richmond.
Lee met the love of his life in 1948, and married his eternal companion Melna Rawlins, April 15, 1949 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base for 26 years and worked for the Town of Manila for 25 years. He served in various callings with the church.
Lee is survived by his wife, Melna and their three children, ElRay Coleman, Junelun (Jeff) Clark, and Stacy (David) Bodily; 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 11 great grandchildren who loved him dearly; also one sister LaVonia (Vernon) Hulse.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State St. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
Interment, Smithfield City Cemetery.
