With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Elmer Membreno on December 27, 2024. Elmer was born in El Salvador on June 26, 1974, to Corina Palma and Elmer Adonay Membreno.
Elmer lost his father at a very young age. He moved to California in his teenage years, where he was mainly raised. Elmer went on to get his GED in the state of California, but education wasn't his main pursuit in life. Elmer loved Bumpin’- music in his car like Old School Rap, Disco, Techno/Eurodance, Reggae, and so many other genres. He took pride in his culture, his family, and especially his Cadillac. He was a realist, yet very optimistic and wishful. A fan of the Green Bay Packers, and luckily witnessed two Superbowl wins for his favorite team. He loved so many shows and so many movies and boy did he make sure you knew about Dragon Ball Z. He loved his animals so much, especially dogs including Luna and Noches, and his special buddies Max, Clover, Chloe, and Chico who will be greeting him on the rainbow bridge.
Before his sickness, Elmer enjoyed the ocean and waters. He was an avid fisherman and took his family swimming every summer. He worked very hard to make an earning for his family and provided so much love and warmth.
He loved making his children happy, always letting his youngest paint his nails, do his makeup, and even draw on his back with pens and markers. He always let his son play with his gaming systems, buy him his own games, and break everything he owned. He always found the time to take his oldest daughter to soccer practices and games, bought her her very first guitar even though he didn't have much. Elmer was a man of character, always cracking jokes and making so many smile. He connected with so many people and knew someone everywhere he went. He was a loving son, brother, friend, uncle, and father who will be very missed.
Elmer is survived by his three children, daughters, Kimberly Mariela Membreno, Corina Celeste Membreno; and son, Elmer Antony Membreno. He is also survived by his mother, Corina Palma; and brother, Marvin Palma; and sister, Yasmin Montellano; as well as his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
