Elna Marie Martinez 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, do to natural causes at her daughters home in Roy. She was born March 5, 1937 in Burley, Idaho to Dello and Maggie Wixon.

She married Fred Martinez they had six children and one daughter from a previous marriage, Christina (Richard Deceased) Hall, Mike (Jana) Martinez, Mary (Brett) Peer, Tony (Tina) Martinez, Vicky Martinez (Deceased) and Diana Duran; and stepdaughter, Peggy Glen. Elna was preceded by death by her husband, one daughter, and seven of her siblings of which she was the youngest, leaving one brother, Verl Wixon.

Mom worked many years as a CNA

Her children would like to thank her sister, Mary (Brett) Peer, for their patient and loving care of Mom over the years.

The family would also like to thank Mom’s case worker, Zac and her hospice nurses, Aubrey and Hannah, and especially the kind and professional staff at the Roy City Fire Department for months of outstanding support.
