Elnora Kruitbosch Newey Suiter
Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend Elnora Kruitbosch Newey Suiter, 77, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born in Ogden, Utah on March 11, 1936 to Herman Ben and Wanda Aston Kruitbosch.
Elnora married Blaine W. Newey in 1952 in Ogden. Their marriage as later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Blaine passed away in an accident in 1981. She married F. Dean Suiter and they later divorced.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elnora served faithfully in several callings including Relief Society 1st Counselor, Young Women''s Advisor, and as a service missionary for the Jefferson 27th Ward in Ogden.
She loved gardening, working on genealogy, hiking, biking and traveling. Her greatest joy was being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elnora is survived by her daughters, Angela (Robert) Russell, Roy; and Teresa (Gary) Collette, Pasadena, Maryland; brother, Dennis (Linda) Kruitbosch, Riverdale; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild,
She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine; son, Douglas B. Newey, daughter, Candis R. Daich, and sister, Jolene Creed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
