Elsie Davis

Elsie Garn Davis 1921 – 2010 Elsie Garn Davis, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born July 16, 1921 in Provo, Utah the daughter of William Samuel and Cordelia Jackson Garn. She married Kenneth E. Davis, March 1, 1941 in Winnemucca, Nevada, they were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. Together Ken and Elsie owned and operated Elsie’s Floral and Hobbies. She loved miniatures and spending time working on them with her friends. She enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting and especially cooking. Survived by her children Mary (Sam) Moss, Jerie (Janet) Davis and Terry (Peggy) Davis; eleven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Everett Garn and a sister Jennie (Chick) Smith. Preceded in death by her husband, daughter and son-in-law Dawn and James Etheridge; five brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Friends may call Saturday from 12:30- 1:30 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N.400 E. prior to services.
