Elva O’Neal
I am Elva Young Ehlers O’Neal. I was born in Fremont, Wayne County, Utah, on June 15, 1915.
It’s time to go home now to be with my family there. Trials have been few but blessings have been many. My favorite blessings are my children who are Beverly Ann Ehlers, Gaylen Lyman Robinson (son), Marilyn Robinson, Barry Lee Robinson, Barton Lance Robinson, Robert Alvin Robinson, Dennis Fullmer (deceased); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will miss all my dear relatives and my many kind friends. It has been wonderful knowing you.
After I retired I worked at the Browning Gun Museum. I didn’t know beans about guns but soon I was able to explain all about them to all who came to the museum. I volunteered at the Union Station museum and at the same time I had a cleaning business (four houses a week) until I was 90. I enjoyed attending the Ogden Temple until my heart attack left me unable to work. Each of my sons served in the military.
Graveside services will be held 11 am Friday, December 18, 2009 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah under the directions of Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
