Emberlynn Fae Lujan

After nine months of anticipation and 24 short days since coming into the world, EmberLynn Fae Lujan passed away in her sleep on the morning of June 29, 2021. During her short time with us, EmberLynn captivated us with her strength, her love of snuggling with her mama and her immediate and eternal bond with her big sister, Everly Bry Lujan.

EmberLynn is survived and missed by her mother; Jenica Lujan, her father; Dakota Petersen, her sister; Everly Lujan, maternal grandparents; Bryan and Tammy Lujan, paternal grandparents; Gordon and Barbara Petersen, her aunts; Carisa Blades, Cassandra Nelson, Rose Zetz, Azure West and uncles; Justin Blades, Isaac Nelson, Jeff Harris as well as their children. EmberLynn was loved and supported by many close friends and extended family. She was preceded in death and welcomed to heaven by her great grandmother, Mary Katherine Foxen and her great uncle Everett Nicholas Larsen.

Too perfect to stay here on earth, EmberLynn’s departure reminds us all that life is fragile and that family is the most important gift that we are given.

Services will be held to say goodbye to our baby Ember on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.

Our family will be forever grateful for the support and services of Washington Heights Church, Lindquist Mortuary, The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, NICU Helping Hands, Harris Construction and Midnight Runners Car Club and each individual friend or family member that has offered their support or donations through GoFundMe. Thank you to the amazing nurses in labor & delivery at McKay Dee Hospital (Kaitlyn, Caitlin, Misty) that made Ember’s entrance into the world as great of an experience as possible.
