Emelia Suzanne Steed

January 11, 1968 ~ January 23, 2016

Emelia Suzanne Steed, 48, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 23, 2016. She was born in Tacoma, WA, January 11, 1968 to Barbara Founce. She was four days old when Harley and Virginia Spencer welcomed her to their home along with two older brothers. She was joined later by three sisters and a brother. Her family moved around with her father’s job through Washington, Oregon, then back east and Arizona. She met and married Eric Thude in Phoenix, and had four children Aaron, Brittany, Jacob and Sophie. Emelia loved her children dearly. On April 21, 1995 she married Bruce Steed and gained a son, Josh and two daughters, Jami and Megan.

Bruce and "E" lived in Weber County. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She worked at Citibank and made a lot of friends. She loved so many things and had a zest for life. She loved reading true crime books, doing word searches, and was an awesome cook and made delicious food from scratch without using recipes. Her favorite icon whom she loved and collected was Betty Boop. She enjoyed camping, fishing and backpacking with her family. She loved to travel with Bruce when he was driving truck. She also was an eBay fanatic, avid Investigation Discovery channel and American Picker viewer. Her fur babies, Elle and Brolle brought her great joy in life and she spoiled them immensely. She jumped into life with both feet and leaves a huge void in the life's and hearts of her family and friends who will miss her. Her husband and children want us to honor her, celebrate her life, and share in the goodness and times of fun, laughter and happiness.
