Emil Henry McBrayer

LAYTON – Emil Henry McBrayer passed away November 18, 2023 at his home in Layton, Utah at

the age of 87. He was born in Elliottville, Kentucky on February 27, 1936 to Bert William and Alta

Lambert McBrayer.

He married Lillian Mae Hardin in Morehead, Kentucky on August 28, 1953. He was employed as a

Produce Manager for Patrini’s Grocery in the Bay Area of Northern California.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lillian McBrayer; his two sons: Rev. Rick McBrayer of

Escondido, California, and Roger McBrayer of Uintah, Utah; his two daughter-in-laws Debbie McBrayer

of Escondido, California, and Laura McBrayer of Uintah, Utah; his two sisters: Janet Dulin of

Bozeman, Montana, and Naomi Thomson of Gordonsville, Virginia; his five grandchildren, and seven

great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville

Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Saturday from 12:30 to

1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
