Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and great-grandmother Emily Silva passed away on July 29, 2015. She was born on October 1, 1952 to Carlos and Stella Martinez in Ogden, Utah.

Emily enjoyed deer hunting, camping, and fishing. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, Le’A, Cesar, Annabel, Jersea, and Savanna. Emily listened to all types of music but she really loved to dance to Spanish music. We also know that Emily inspired many people; she was a very outgoing woman and was loved by many.

Emily is survived by her three sons, Paul, Robert, and Brian; daughter, Crystal (Rigoberto); three brothers, Carl, Thomas, and Louie; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Interment will be held at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park on Friday at 2 p.m.
