Emma Jane Hymas

Emma Jane Hymas, 64, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.  She was born on January 5, 1950 to Robert Kayo and Ila Winder Mounteer in Ogden, Utah.

After graduating from high school, Emma earned a Bachelors Degree in Civil and Agriculture Engineering. 

Emma married Virgil Thomas Hymas on September 29, 1979 in Elko, Nevada.  Virgil passed away on March 8, 1999. 

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Emma enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She had a big heart and was always willing to help everyone. 

Emma is survived by her son, Sammy Eldred, Ogden; daughters, Faye Ann Hymas-Hindes, Ogden; Linda Jo Elmer, Layton; Stephanie Miller, Ogden; and Halla Lacey, Ogden; seven grandchildren, six brothers, and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virg Hymas; her husband, Glen Eldred; and daughter, Linda Ann Mahaffey.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
