Enid Exon N.S.L. – Devoted Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Aunt and Friend; Enid Lorainne Potter Dalton Exon, returned to the loving embrace and comfort of her Heavenly Father on April 30, 2010 at the age of 71. Born on March 18, 1939 in SLC, Utah to Noral and Meda Hill Potter. She grew up in Salt Lake valley and graduated from West High School. She married Robert E. Dalton on February 23, 1957, later divorced. Married Robert Dwayne Exon on September 6, 1978. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on March 12, 1980. She is survived by children: Robert (Jeanna) Dalton, Lorie (Kelly) Jackson, Dale (Pam) Dalton, Ron (Melissa) Dalton, Andy (Katie) Dalton, Annette (Terry) Cook; Exon step-children: John (Kelly), Karen (Terry), Leesa (Travis), Ginger (Chuck), Denny, Pam (Doug), Kevin; many grandchildren great-grandchildren, sisters Janice Bundle, Lois (Trent) Ramseyer, Loa Jean Tolman, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by husband, parents, sisters; Carla Rae Larsen and Nora Lee Elben, stepson, Orlin and many others, what a reunion she is having. She enjoyed serving in many different callings in the LDS church; including serving a fulltime mission with her husband to Oklahoma. She was an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She worked many different jobs in her lifetime, doing all she could to support her family. Her greatest treasures were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very loving person and never criticized anyone. She was always thinking of others, and loved getting together with her friends and family she enjoyed sisters lunches, reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, knitting, crossword puzzles, and gardening. As well as playing card games, taking trips or just being with her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We are grateful to Janice for the years of love and companionship they were able to share as friends and sisters. Special thanks are sent to the staff at Lakeview Hospital’s third floor; there are many of you who hold a special place in Enid’s heart. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday May 5, 2010 at the Orchard Fourth Ward Chapel, 55 E. 350 N. NSL, UT. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 4 from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Wednesday 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to the services. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Bountiful.
