Eric Scott Barrus

1962~2015

Forever a child of God, surrounded by family our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed from this earthly home to the open arms of our Father in Heaven. Eric was also welcomed home by his father, Emerson and his sister, LaNece DeMille and many other family members.

Jeanette together with his brother, Neil and sister-in-law, Katie would like to invite family and friends to a memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3628 South 2700 West, West Haven at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015.

Eric was born in Torrance, California and attended school in California for 18 years. He enjoyed riding his bike, shooting his basketball, spending time at the beach and boat rides with his Dad. He loved music and was rarely seen without a radio.

Eric resided at the Trinity Mission Wide Horizons Care Center in Ogden, where he made many friends who became like family. He thoroughly enjoyed his work at Enable Industries.

Our family is thankful for the kind and loving care provided by TMWHCC staff members. Our thanks also go out to the many doctors, nurses and staff members at McKay-Dee Hospital, Intermountain Health Care, South Davis Community Hospital and the Life Flight crew for the excellent care the Eric received.
