Eric D. Brunson

Eric D. Brunson SYRACUSE – Our beloved Eric D. Brunson went back to the arms of his loving Father in Heaven Monday, January 19, 2009. He had a sweet smile and loving personality and will remain with us always. Eric was born September 13, 1976 in Ogden, Utah the son of Dilworth Lynn and Gwen Watkins Brunson. On July 28, 2000 he married his childhood sweetheart Lacie Marie Lund (ENLF). She was the love of his life. They both shared a love of music. They met when he was in the band and she was in the Color Guard. They were blessed with three beautiful children whom he loved dearly. Daddy was there best friend and his children call him Daddy-O. Eric was a happy, easy going, giving individual. He loved everyone he met and they each held a special place in his heart. He always had a smile on his face and wanted to please everyone. Eric was employed at Utility Trailer and McGraths Fish House. He was going to school to become a pharmacist. He was a member of the LDS Church and served a mission in Argentina. Eric was an Eagle Scout. Eric enjoyed nothing more than playing with his snakes, playing his trumpet, fishing, reading, spending time with his family, playing games and gardening with his wife and children. Surviving are his wife Lacie, three children, Rylie Dee (Dee Dee), Cole Robert (Bug), Adisyn Kate (Boo Boo), mother, Gwen Sphar, siblings, Shane (Jessica) Brunson, Becky (Jace) Dalton, Amy (Matt) Tolley, Christy, David and Shelly Sphar, sister-in-law, Tiffany (Greg) King, father and mother in-law, Robert and Tanna Lund and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Dilworth Brunson. Memorial services will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Syracuse Stake Center, 1600 So. 4500 W. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral directors, Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A trust fund has been set up in Eric’s name at America First Credit Union for his children.
