Erma Ann Forbes Adams

LAYTON – Erma Ann Forbes Adams, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 28, 2014.

She was born August 19, 1936 in Layton, Utah the daughter of Elmer Joseph and Ila Ada Flint Forbes.

Erma attended local schools and graduated from Davis High School.

She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.

Erma was fun loving, loved square dancing, crocheting, doing word search. She was a great seamstress and wonderful cook.

Erma was an awesome grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving are her sons, Rod Aurther (Pam) Adams, Russell James Adams, daughter, Raeleen Carmack, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Lezli Adams, sisters, Joyce Gunderson and Joann Pollett.

Preceded in death by her parents, her son, Rick Alan Adams, granddaughters, Kirstee Jo Adams, Shailee Adams, brother, Junior Forbes and sister, Blanche Kirk.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to America First Credit Union in her name to off-set funeral expenses.
