Erma Gertrude Miller McCrone

Erma Gertrude Miller McCrone, 87, passed away on December 30, 2012. She was born on December 5, 1925 in Ogden, the daughter of James George and Elizabeth Browning Miller.

She married George Wilton McCrone, Sr. on February 14, 1947 in Evanston, Wyoming. Erma and George were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in October of 1959. George passed away on April 11, 1986.

Erma was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the gospel.

Erma loved to write poetry and short stories. She was fond of music and loved to sing. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family; her family was everything to her.

Erma is survived by son, George Wilton McCrone, Jr.; daughter, JoAnn McCrone Bettis; 6 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters, Luella, Lenora and Ellen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
