Erma Orlinda Trujillo-Lujan
OGDEN - Erma, our beloved mother, sister, gram/grammy, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She passed peacefully at McKay Dee Hospital, with her loving family by her bedside.
She was born in Fort Garland, Colorado to Henry and Charlotte (Roybol) Trujillo on March 15, 1934. She was one of 13 siblings. She moved to Utah where she attended grade school and high school in Eastern Utah. After graduating, she went on to nursing school where she completed her nursing career. She worked for many years at McKay- Dee Hospital, retired, and went on to work at local nursing homes. The many patients she cared for and the many co-workers who worked with her over the years will remember her years of caring service.
She was a member of St. Mary''s Catholic Church, and was an active Sunday school teacher for many years, as well as an everyday teacher to her family and friends who loved her and whom she loved unconditionally. She was always the heart of the family who gave without exception.
Mom loved reading her favorite books, relaxing in her chair, planting her favorite flowers, and was a superb cook. She loved watching her family develop into good loving people.
She is survived by three daughters: Mary Madelyn Valencia of Ogden UT; Carol Denise (Jan) Garner of Perry UT; Yvonne Bonnie (Ramon) Quintana of Liberty, UT; her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her sister Stella Brown of Colorado, and brothers Jake and Albert Trujillo of Farr West and Salt Lake City, UT.
Preceding her in death are her son Patrick Lujan, her parents Henry and Charlotte Roybol-Trujillo, three brothers and six sisters.
We would like to thank family and friends that have given their support and love in this difficult time, and thank McKay-Dee Hospital and Hospice for all of their care and attention they gave to her in her time of need.
Mom, you never said goodbye it was always... "I''ll see you." We miss you, and will always love you very much. Your loving family.
