Erron L Farr

Erron Laretus Farr (Rete) of Clinton, Utah, returned to his Father in Heaven, Sunday May 25, 2008. He died of natural causes.

Erron was born August 24, 1919 in Binghampton, Arizona, the oldest child of Erron W. Farr and Helen M. Kimball.

He married Lucile Rhoades on January 7, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Erron built homes in Provo and a street was named after the family called Farr Ave. He drove truck for ZCMI and farmed in Payson, Utah. He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 30 years as a machinist.

He served as a scout master and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He loved his family. They were very close took many family vacations together. He also was an avid hunter. His love for geneology is what kept him going after the love of his life Lucile died. She died March 3, 2002. Erron was going to be honored for his geneology work at the Farr Family Reunion.

He is survived by two sons, Kenny Farr, Clinton; Keith (Marci), West Weber; four daughters, Karen (Don) Flitton, Dee Anne Wood, Clinton; Pat (Larry) Knotek, Overton, NV; and Ranae (Tuffy) Sweet, Cave Creek, AZ. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 15 A½ great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers, Andrew and Lloyd, two sisters, Genevieve Lee, Barbara Romney and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton 20th Ward, 1288 W. 1300 No. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 So. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
