Erva Elizabeth “Beth” Sessions

Erva Elizabeth “Beth” Sessions, 94, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020. She was born on June 1, 1925 in Clearfield, Utah, the daughter of Leonard G. and Erva Fay Jones Smith.
She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from a young age. She was the DUP President, visited many LDS Temples in the United States and Canada.
Beth was a PBX Operator at St. Benedicts Hospital and worked for several other jobs during her lifetime in Ogden and Roy, Utah and Federal Way, Washington.
She lived in Federal Way, Washington for 20 years and was in the Hylebos Ward. She moved back to Utah and was in the Uintah 1st Ward; finally living in the Uintah, Utah with her daughter and son.
Beth was a good mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was brave, adventurous, and courageous, raising her family on her own.
Beth is survived by her son, William; daughters, Peggy Price and Karen (Mark) Johnston; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Howard Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Shaner; brother, Darrel Smith; and daughter-in-law, Diane Sessions; nephews, Blake Smith and Michael Shanell.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
