Estella Lucia (Martinez) Fulk

Estella Lucia Martinez Fulk, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 25, 2014.

She was born March 28, 1924 in San Antonio, Colorado to Rafael and Regina Lopez Martinez.

On June 10, 1950, Stella married Arthur G. Fulk in Evanston, Wyoming.  Arthur preceded her in death January 10, 2000.

She was an active member of the Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Council of Catholic Women.

Stella is survived by her three daughters,  Sharon (Jerry) Courson, Pine Bluff, AR; Theresa Horne, Roy;  Carrie (Dan) Montiel, Clinton; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mannie Quintana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Mandy Cotner, brothers, Marcos, Tony, Albert, and sisters, Rafelita and Celia.

Moms greatest enjoyment was time spent with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren, she loved them all unconditionally,  and they have many fond memories of spending the night with grandma and grandpa. She loved traveling and spending time with her siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was well known for her good cooking and shared many a meal with family and friends.
A favorite pastime was her trips to Wendover with her good friends.

The family would like to thank Encompass Home Health and Hospice Services, especially Wendy, Angie and Tammy for their loving care and support.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1st at 12 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4015 S. 3900 W., West Haven.  The family will meet with friends Friday, January 31st from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist 's Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. with Vigil  and Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
