Esther Maude Scott

Esther Maude Scott, age 81, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Rocky Mountain Care Center.

She was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 20, 1929 to Harvey and Jenny Jones. Esther graduated from Lewiston High School in June 1947 and graduated from North Shore Babies Hospital in Salem, Mass on February 1949.

She was employed as a nursery nurse until her marriage to USAF Airmen Henry Scott in August 17, 1954.

She was a loving wife and mother and continued to care for young children in her community as a volunteer in the nursery at the Clearfield Community Church until five years ago.

She is survived by her husband Henry Scott, and her four children: daughter Mary Crow, husband Wayne and their children Tosha, Alta, and Wayne Jr., daughter Virginia Schwartz, husband Jeff, and son Stephen, son George Scott, and his children Kevin, and Krystale and son Clive Scott, wife Gina and their children, Cassi, Crystal, Juliann, and Felicia, also six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Clearfield Community Church, 200 S. 500 E., Clearfield.

In lieu of flowers donations family suggest donations be made to the church nursery for a plaque in her name.
