Ethan Garry Bennington

Ethan Garry Bennington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at his home.

He was born March 17, 1944 in Ogden, Utah to Ethan Carl and Lila May White Bennington.

On August 31, 1967, Garry married the love of his life, Sharon Allen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in various callings throughout his life.

Garry retired from North Davis Sewer District after 30 years of service.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren''s activities and being their special bus driver.

Garry is survived by his wife, Sharon; four children, Lori (Shane) Dunstan, Clinton; Brad Bennington, Sunset; Karla Bennington, Roy; Lisa Bennington, Clinton; four grandchildren, Lane and Jeremy Dunstan, Taylor Cantu, and Haylee Bennington; two brothers, LaMoin Bennington and Norman Bennington; and many special nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father and a special sister.

He was a terrific husband, daddy and grandpa who devoted himself and his time to anybody who needed it.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
