Ethel Marie Barger “Nana” SOUTH OGDEN – Ethel Marie Barger, passed away on her 89th birthday in Ogden, Utah. She was born April 22, 1921 in Ocate’, New Mexico, to Aurora and Sam Thompson. Marie married Robert Barger on June 5, 1943 in Roswell, New Mexico. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert, three daughters, Barbara (Denny) Falk, Ogden; Roberta (Don) Smith, Yuma, AZ; and Nancy (Joe) Crosson, Roy; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much and a brother, John Thompson. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Sam and grandson Dominic. She will be greatly missed by her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South. Family will meet with friends at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
