Etta L. Markley, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born on July 26, 1930 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Leonard D. and Ida P. Walker Crownover.
She met Howard in a tax office when she was a client of his. They were married in Guam on January 26, 1994 where he was stationed in the military. They celebrated 25 incredible years together. They were each other’s best friends.
Etta was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roy and had many friends. She was an avid bowler with Sunday night mixers. She loved crocheting and was very talented. She made more afghans than she knew what to do with, after making one for every grandkid. She loved to read Romance Novels for fun! She also enjoyed playing bunko and bridge every week.
She loved her French Poodle Pierre, Corgi Hannibal, and Kinky the cat. Her greatest treasure was her family that she loved dearly and she will be greatly missed.
