Eugene Buck

Eugene Buck, 83, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 5, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles and Victoria Christensen Buck. He was raised in Amalga and attended school in Smithfield.

On March 2, 1957, Eugene married Cleone Davis in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He retired from Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft painter, and also worked running heavy equipment and construction.

He raised quarter horses and enjoyed rebuilding cars, building horse trailers, fishing, hunting, camping, long rides in the mountains, chariot racing, gardening and farming.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Cleone; two sons, Brant (Shelly) Buck. Gregory (Joshlyn) Buck; four daughters, Peggy (Dennis L.) Bell, Brenda Buck (Bills), Karen Buck, Kaylene Bitton; 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Merlin, Lew, a sister, Nona Andrews, and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Buck .

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Ivan Buck, Larry Buck, and three brothers, Glen, Dewaine and Lorin Buck.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the West Warren Cemetery, 750 North 6700 West.
