Eulalio Marquez Hernandez, age 65, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Ogden, Utah.
Eulalio was born on November 24, 1957, to Eulalio Hernandez and Concepcion Marquez in Villa Ahumada, Mexico. Later he moved to El Paso, Texas. In 1994 he settled in Ogden, Utah where he married Maria Cruz, and were blessed with 5 children.
Eulalio loved fútbol and was a huge fan of the Pumas (Club Universidad Nacional, A.C.), as well as the American football team, San Francisco 49ers. He loved playing the “quinelas” for all the soccer games.
Eulalio is survived by his father, Eulalio Hernandez; wife, Maria Cruz Hernandez; 2 sons, Andres Arreola (Alma Lopez) and Luis Angel Cruz (Vianey Cruz); 3 daughters, Perla Rodriguez (David Rodriguez) Laura Delgado (Francisco Delgado), and Idaly Hernandez; brother, Ignacio Adame; 3 sisters, Petra Rangel, Sara Hernandez, and Refugio Hernandez; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Eulalio was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Concepcion Marquez Hernandez; and his brother, Luis Marquez.
Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah 84401, as well as Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00am before joining the procession to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah, 84401, followed by a luncheon at 12:00pm.
