Eunice Margaret Isom passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in her sleep. 

She was married to Peter Robert Isom who preceded her in death in 2000.

She was a loving, mother, wife, and an excellent homemaker, and is survived by her children, Anita (Philip) Carter, Iris (Michael) Johnson, Philip (Sheree’) Isom, Clarice (Gregory) Baldwin, Timothy (Jill) Isom, Dominic (F. Lee Jr.) Valentine, and Erika Isom; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

Eunice was born in New Orleans and raised in the south where she met and married Peter Robert Isom 67 years ago.  Eunice often faced challenges alone as a mother while Peter provided for his family working in war zones and keeping the wolves from the door.  Through all their years of marriage they remained unified in their decisions. 

Eunice was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and greatly enjoyed every opportunity to serve that she was given, and was extremely grateful for the service given to her. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, South Ogden.  A Holy Rosary will be recited at the church at 10 a.m.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.
