Eunice H Snyder

Eunice H. Snyder, 83, passed away on August 3, 2023, in Brigham City. She was born on April 27, 1940, in Mandan, North Dakota, the daughter of Valentine and Anna Derschon Schmidt.

She married Forrest L. Snyder on March 1, 1958, in Everett, Washington. Forrest passed away on January 27, 2010.

Eunice was an amazing mother and grandmother, she always looked forward to visiting with her family and enjoyed the family dinners.

Eunice proudly served her country in The United States Air Force Reserves, serving during Desert Storm.

Eunice was raised as a member of the Catholic Church, as an adult she joined the Lutheran Church. She was also affiliated with the Eagles, Elks and Moose Lodges.

She enjoyed cooking, camping, and bowling. She loved playing Pinochle. She will forever cherish the friendships formed playing Yahtzee over the decades with her “Girls Club”.

Eunice is survived by her daughters, Delon Snyder, Loretta “Lorie” Spruill, and Karen (Doug) Olsen; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Forrest L. Snyder; son, Forrest Douglas Snyder; daughter, Cynthia A. Snyder; grandsons, Sampson Spruill and Caysen Olsen; and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.

Our family is grateful to Alexis Ray for all the extra care and time she spent to take care of our mom. The family would also like to thank Alison Johnson, Aegis Hospice, Allyson Serna and the staff at Gables Assisted Living in Brigham City.
