Eva Marie Gunnell

Eva Marie Gunnell CLEARFIELD – Eva Marie Gunnell, 94, passed away Thursday, March 5, 1009 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield. She has now gone to be with Arthur and our Heavenly Father whom she loved. She was born on May 30, 1915 in Arcadia, Louisiana the daughter of Grady and Georgie Green. Eva married Arthur A. Gunnell in Louisiana on August 2, 1944. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Clearfield and the Eastern Star. Eva and Arthur owned and operated Gunnell’s Greenhouse Nursery in Syracuse. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Counsellor, WA; Marilyn Wilhoit, AL; grandchildren, Kenny Wilhoit, AL; Kevin Wilhoit, GA; Ron Wilhoit, AL; Don Ross, UT; Dana Brown, MO;, Karrie Ross, UT; great-grandchildren, Chelsie, Casey, Linsey, Jamie, Cooper, Riley and brother, Merle Green, LA. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Gunnell. Graveside services were held on March 12, 2009 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Funeral directors, Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
