Eva Mae Brown Kunz

Eva Mae Brown Kunz, 79, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014. She was born on August 15, 1934 to Horace and Myrtle Garner Brown in Ogden, Utah. She grew up and lived her whole life in Ogden.
She married James H. Kunz on January 6, 1955 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Eva was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in Relief Society, Special Needs Mutual, as a Sunday School Teacher, cook at Camp Lomonda, and other various church positions.
She enjoyed working with children and volunteered to help the children read at the elementary school. Eva enjoyed cooking and worked as the school lunch manager. She also enjoyed square dancing, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Eva is survived by her husband, James Kunz; son, Brian (Wendy) Kunz, Roy; daughter, Jill Celli, Hooper; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Kunz Duvall; one grandson, one great-grandson, parents, brother, Eldon Brown; sisters, Lola Craig, Doris Berrey, and Verna Fronberg.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
