Eva Lou Myers 1935 to 2009 Eva Lou Myers, 74, died at a Nevada hospital, after an extended chronic illness, on Thursday, August 6, 2009.
Eva was born on July 29, 1935 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Wendell Willy and Esther Fern Watson. She grew up with one older brother Thomas W. Watson, presently of Gilbert, Arizona.
She met, married and was preceded in death by her only love, Clyde Henry Myers, Sr. They married on December 22, 1951, and survived 48 years of marriage and a lifetime of challenges together. Eva and Clyde left a treasured legacy in their three wonderful children, Peggy A. Williams (Ron) of Boise Idaho, Clyde H. Myers, Jr., (Darlene) of Bunkerville, Nevada, and Mary E. O''Brien, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She had six grandchildren, Tonia Kay Waller (Jason), Aaron Jason Schwab (Laura), Timothy Owen Myers, Amber Nicole Schwab, Rebecca Eva Burke (Joey), and Abigail Marie Williams, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Eva worked for the Internal Revenue Service, Ogden, Utah, for over 30 years, was a member of the Clearfield Chapter of Eastern Star, and on occasion, attended the Clearfield Community Church. She loved her novels, read them by the volumes, enjoyed her casino-moments, and had a god-gifted talent for knitting and crocheting.
She will always be remembered for her tenacity and strength. We Love you Mom!
