LOUISVILLE, Colorado a€" Shirley Phillips, 83, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at her home in Louisville, Colorado.

She was born April 17, 1926 in Coalville, Utah, a daughter of Sumner Robert and Elma Gunn Salmon.

Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She worked at Hill Air Force Base for many years, later transferring to Boulder, Colorado to work at SAC. She retired following many years of service.

She was greatly loved by her sister, Barbara Pinder, of St. George; her brother, Robert "Bob" Salmon (deceased); and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
