Eva A. Youngberg
OGDEN – Eva Virginia Adams Youngberg, 97, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 25, 1911 in Ogden, the 10th of 11 children born to William Henry and Wilhelmina Reed Taylor Watson Adams. She attended the Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High School in 1929. She later worked for an Ogden physician for a number of years.
On February 1, 1936, Eva married Merrill A. Youngberg in Ogden. They raised three children, Richard M. (Gerry) Youngberg, Kay Snow, and Gayle (Robert) Aardema. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Merrill preceded her in death in 1975.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially enjoyed her callings in the Primary organization.
Eva loved ceramics and created many beautiful items for her family members. She also enjoyed traveling and bowling with family members. She was an avid reader and kept track of all current events.
Surviving are her three children, 13 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, all her brothers and sisters, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Scott Reeves officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
