Evaline May Blair
CLEARFIELD - Evaline May Blair passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010. She died of natural causes incident to age (89). Evaline was born on March 10, 1921 in Maysville, Kentucky to Everett and Willetta Florence. She served in the Womens'' Army Corp as a military policewoman during World War II. She later worked as a civilian cook and then as a nurse at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
Evaline had four children: Paul Maxfield (Becky), Rosemary Maxfield, David Maxfield (Linda), and Evelyn Cox; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in several callings. She lived a full and active life, but for the past two years was cared for at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah, where she was treated with love, kindness and respect by the staff, as well as Rocky Mountain Care Hospice.
She is survived by her son David Maxfield (Linda) Layton, Utah, daughter, Evelyn Cox, Woods Cross, four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Paul, daughter Rosemary, and three grandchildren, as well as husbands, Chester Clinton Wiescup, Paul Maxfield, Harold Cox and Ivan Blair. Evaline will join her Heavenly Father, husbands, parents, brother, sisters, children and grandchildren who preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held Thursday. July 1, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
