Eve Henderson Hennefer

Eve Wyoma Henderson Hennefer, 91, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Syracuse, Utah.
She was born March 15, 1925 in Afton, Wyoming, a daughter of Joseph Hyrum and Annie Ellen Nielson Henderson. She was a graduate of Ogden High School Class of 1943, and later attended evening classes at Weber State College. In the spring of 1944, she graduated from Communications school on Los Angeles, California and in 1946 from Air Lines Communications in Kansas City, Missouri.
Eve married Fred Raymond Hennefer, they were later divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
In San Diego, California she worked as a statistical typist in the stenographic division of the Los Nietos Oil Company. At Hill Air Force Base, she was a cargo scheduler in the shipment planning branch, transportation division and retired with 30 years of service.
She enjoyed working outside in her yard, traveling with family to Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and California, and was interested in activities and accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, Christopher M. (Judy) Hennefer, South Ogden; two daughters, Kimberly (Dennis) Stratton, Syracuse; Dixie Lundgreen, West Haven; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
The family would like to thank the South Ogden Post-Acute, Raintree Senior Living, and Symbii Home Health and Hospice for the special care of our Mother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
