Evelyn Hazel Coulter Albers

August 8, 1923 ~ April 3, 2017

On Monday, April 3, 2017 our Heavenly Father called our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Evelyn C. Albers home.

She was born to Wiley and Edwina Coulter on August 8, 1923.

She married her sweetheart John on July 18, 1942 in Mississippi. 

She loved life, her family and friends, and enjoyed shopping, fishing, and having adventures.

She was an active member of the Calvary Christian Church and loved to serve others.

Surviving are her children, Cindy (Joe) Young, Bobbie (Randy) Simister-Potokar, Jane (Lee) Cory, and Kelly (Brad) Albers; 18 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Shirley; son, Richard; and grandchildren.

Family would like to thank Independence Home Health and Lotus Park Assisted Living. 

We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
