Evelyn Andrews Buck

Evelyn Andrews Buck, 87, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on June 10, 2012. She was born August 28, 1924 to Homa and Lydia Krauss Andrews in Logan, Utah. She was a graduate of Logan High in 1942.

She married Dewaine Buck December 7, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they raised their children in Bountiful and Mountain Green. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She worked at HAFB and Browning Arms Co. She enjoyed shopping and loved giving gifts to family and friends. She was very involved with the Roy Hillside Senior Center where she had many friends and liked doing ceramics. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Calvin Buck, Boise, ID; Patty Buck, Tucson, AZ; Vicky Humphrey, Ogden, UT; Laura (Doug) Crawford, Pocatello, ID, Janice (Chet) VanOrden, Ogden, UT, and David (Tricia) Buck, Ogden, UT; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and one brother, Max Andrews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewaine; grandson, Travis Neuteboom; her parents; brothers, William, Jay, Ariel, Hal, and Blaine; and sister, Glenna.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Manor Care and Staff, for their loving care of our mother. A special thank you to Hospice for Utah for their care.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
