Evelyn Goalen LaRocco "Together Again"

OGDEN - Evelyn Goalen LaRocco, 84, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 21, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Wilford and Daisy Ivy Prime Goalen.

Evelyn graduated from South High School. On September 28, 1946, she married the love of her life, Alvin Baynon LaRocco. Alvin served in Air Force and together they traveled the world as he served the country. They were married for 57 years. He preceded her in death in February of 2004.

Her life was spent loving and serving her family. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her life was all about her family.

Surviving are her two sons, Gary (Bette) LaRocco, Murray; and Steve LaRocco, Pocatello, ID; three daughters, Lynda Murphy, Roy; Sherry (Phil) Rose, Sandy; Renee (Craig) Allred, Layton; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild also two sisters, Jean Anderson and Ellen Peysar

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Cris Montgomery; and sister, Daisy Lewis.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
