Evelyn Stathis Leedom

ROY – Evelyn Stathis Leedom was born on May 6, 1940 in Ogden to Greek parents Mike and Fanny Hohlios Stathis.

She passed quietly early on Saturday, August 9, 2014 of natural causes. Evelyn graduated from Ben Lomond HS class of '59. She married Donald E Leedom in 1963.  They had four children: Donald Jr., Michael, John, and Brenda

Evelyn retired in 1992 after 33 years at FRAM. Evelyn was known for her love of traditional Greek cooking, swap-meets, and slot machines.

She is survived by her four children, 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, sister Dalene Lemberes, two brothers Nick and Harry Stathis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Frocene Adams and Dorothy McDaniels and brother Steven Stathis.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration, 674 42 ^nd St.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Trisagion service at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
