Evelyn F. Martin, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Washington Terrace Care and Rehab.

She was born November 14, 1926 in Mountain Green, Morgan County, a daughter of Darrell Lamar and Leveria Etta Clawson France. She was raised and educated in Morgan.

On October 24, 1946, Evelyn married Cecil Earnest Martin in Morgan, Utah. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1985. They had two sons and two daughters.

Evelyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Orchard Park Ward (9th Ward) for 48 years.

Her hobbies include baking, embroidery, going out to eat and camping.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Earnest (Dawn) Martin, Harold (Penny) Martin, Dellalee (Morris) Forsgren, Bert (Larry) Buck, grandsons, Kelly Cline, John Martin, Chad Martin, Shae Buck, Tory Buck, Tyson Buck, granddaughters, April Martin, Katie Martin, Diana Bottiger, Amber Martin, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Theone (Marion) Spackman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Donna and brother, Vernon.

The family would like to thank the staff at Washington Terrace Care and Rehab, Inspiration Hospice, Dr. Brannick Riggs and Dr. Michael Woolman for their kindness, love and excellent care of Evelyn.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 19th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
