Ezekiel A. Sandoval (Alex)

Ezekiel passed away from this life on the morning of June 27, 2018 very peacefully with his loving wife by his side.  Alex suffered for many years from the effects of COPD and finally succumbed to the disease.

Alex was a Korean Era Veteran and served in the US Marine Corps from 1954 – 1957.  He later continued to work for the US Government as an aircraft mechanic at Hill Air Force Base, UT; retiring after a 30 year career in July of 1993.

Alex enjoyed outdoor sports, he loved to fish, hunt, and go camping.  Generally he loved the great outdoors.

Alex is preceded in death by his parents Jose Sandoval and Ramona Aragon, two brothers and a sister and most recently by a beloved son Vincent Sandoval.

Alex is survived by his wife Mary Ruof Sandoval, two daughters Pauline (Rick Gailey) and  Melannee Butler, son Darious (Samantha) Sandoval, step-son Doug Anderson, step-daughter Kathryn (Arthur) Drzinski and several grandchildren and many other extended family.

Friends may visit family Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden on July 6, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. for family only.
