Faith Dye Hansen

Faith Dye Hansen, born February 16, 1940 passed from this life surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, August 26, 2018 to be re-united with her husband.

Born and raised in Neola, Utah, Faith attended Utah State where she met and married Lynn M. Hansen on September 14, 1959 in the Logan Temple.

She was a true companion to Lynn as they served in the US Air Force and diplomatic corps for nearly 40 years.

She was a fixture at music and sporting events for her children and was a constant source of encouragement for each of them to be their very best.

She served two missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with her husband, including as Mission Mother in Hamburg, Germany from 2001-2004. She and her husband, Lynn, served as ordinance workers in the Ogden, Utah and Frankfurt, Germany temples.

Faith is survived by her seven children Kurt (Teresa), Heidi (Frank), Erik (Susan), Kevin, Kirsten (Brad), Mark (BreAnn), and Wade (Morgan), 29 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren, two sisters Kay (Kent) Summers and Erldine Watson, a sister-in-law, Eula (Larry) Baldwin and numerous nieces and nephews.

We appreciate the kindnesses shown to Mom while she was a resident at Lotus Park Assisted Living Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday August 30, 2018 at the Kanesville Stake Center, 4555 West 4000 South, West Haven. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, August 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center.
