Farrell “John” Roberts Jr.

Farrell John Roberts Jr. passed away on November 8, 2014. He was born October 1, 1929 to Farrell John Roberts and LaPriel Stock in Garfield, Utah.
John was raised in Garfield, Utah. He served an LDS mission to South Africa. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Utah. He married the love of his life, Noreen Hubbard in 1957. Together they raised 8 children. He retired from Hill AFB after 32 years as an Electrical Engineer. John and Noreen served an LDS mission to London, England.
John was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many church callings including Bishop, various Clerks and a Temple Worker. His favorite past-times were genealogy and wiggling his ears.
John is survived by his wife, Noreen Hubbard Roberts; children, Shauna (Lee) Braudt, Janeen (Lance) Partridge, Gregory (Lorianne), Clark (Yvonne), Michelle (Dennis) Voigt, Paul (Susana), JoAnna (Rafael) Prado, Andrea (Tom) Helms; 25 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth and Douglas Roberts.
John is preceded in death by his sisters, Joan Robison and Barbara Grondin.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley 5 th Ward, 5735 Crestwood Dr. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church
Interment will be at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
