Fay Bradford Turner

Fay Bradford Turner, 88, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 of natural causes in Loa, Utah.
She was born June 4, 1926 in Spanish Fork, Utah to H. Miles Bradford and Ruby Warner Bradford. She was raised in Spanish Fork and graduated from Spanish Fork High School.
On May 15, 1946, Fay married B. Ward Turner in the Manti LDS Temple. They lived in Manti, Ogden and have lived in Roy for the last 57 years.
Fay was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many callings including the Relief Society and Primary President. She especially enjoyed the years she served with her husband, Ward, as a temple worker in the Ogden LDS Temple.
She loved spending time with all of her family. She always made everyone who came to her home feel welcome and they knew that she was happy to see them.
Fay is survived by her children, Connie Fay (Thaynne) Wescoatt, SLC, UT; Gary Ward Turner, West Weber, UT; Diane (John) Borzea, Green River, WY, currently serving a mission at Cove Fort Historic Site, UT; Bradford Kay (Carolyn) Turner, Hooper, UT; Kathy (Clark) Chappell, Lyman, UT; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one sister, Blanch Gee, Spanish Fork, UT.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, B. Ward Turner; her parents; brother, Rex Bradford; sisters, Fern Burrows and Grace Duke; grand-daughters, Wendy Anne Wescoatt and Holly Chappell.
The family would like to thank the staff at Serenity Springs Assisted Living in Loa, UT (especially Raylynne Cooper) and Gunnison Valley Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30th at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, July 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
