Fay B. Wheelwright

Fay B. Wheelwright, beloved mother and grandmother passed away at the University of Utah Hospital May 30, 2022 at age 89.

She was born April 18, 1933 in Virginia, Idaho to Ralph E. and Mary Grace Richardson Bennett.

Fay married Donald Wheelwright on August 27, 1983.  She has lived in Idaho, Ogden, Sunset and Clearfield, Utah.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Fay loved working at Hill Air Force Base for 20 plus years and all of the friends that she made there.

She loved to sew for her family and make quilts.

She is survived by Zelma Stathis, RaeJean (Lamar) Miller, Irene (Roy) Cottam, Vickie (Morris) Blowers, Carol Ann (Jim) Price, Terry (Jim) Hill, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and grandchildren.

Thanks to the University of Utah Hospital, Hospice, and especially Zelma for taking care of Mom in these trying times.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah prior to the graveside.
